Instructions

Start at dot number 1, which is marked with a hollow dot, then start drawing straight lines
to connect dots in increasing numerical order, from dot 1 to dot 2, then dot 3, and so on.
Keep going until you reach the next hollow dot. At this point, lift your pen from the paper,
move to the next dot – which will also be hollow – and then continue joining dots.
Sometimes you’ll have to cross back over lines you’ve already drawn, so you might need to
look around a little for the next dot occasionally, but you can be sure it’s never too far away.
Repeat the process until all the dots are joined, resulting in a picture of a beautiful flower.

Tips

The first and last numbers are bolder to make them easier to identify.
Don’t worry if you make a mistake – flowers vary in appearance in nature so just carry on
as if nothing happened. You can always add some extra detail later, of your own devising.
It’s entirely up to you but you could colour in each resulting picture for an even more
personalised piece of art.
Use a fine-tipped pen or a pencil so you don’t hide dots you haven’t yet joined.
